Christian Theology

"One of the main tasks of theology is to find words that do not divide but unite, that do not create conflict but unity, that do not hurt but heal." - Henri Nouwen

"No one believes more strongly than I do that every Christian should be a theologian.  In that sense, we all need to work it out.  I want all Christians who can read, to read their Bibles and to read beyond the Bible - to read the history and theology." - D. A. Carson

Welcome to the LibGuide for Christian Theology!

The purpose of this guide is to introduce you to basic resources necessary and/or available for personal theological research.  It is the aim of this guide to help save you time in searching for these resources.  This guide will give you information about each resource as well as where you can purchase them should you desire to.  Most any seminary or Bible college library should have these works in their collection as well.  This is not an exhaustive list by any means.  This is only a listing of some of the most accessible and most readily available works there are.  There is also no concentration towards one doctrinal position or theology.  Hopefully, the works set forth here are of such a variety that there can be no cause for accusation of promoting one position over another.
